Let me tell you a little about myself. I have a passion for make believe. As a neurodiverse dreamer, my imagination transports me to an entire Universe just waiting to be transcribed. At five years old, I would write my stories in cheap, denim blue jotters with cream paper. Much of my time would be spent on drawing my book's perfect cover. It was funny that I never completed the pages within, though nowadays I understand why.
My brain is filled with projects, ideas, constructing visions on a grand scale. Therefore, I sit with handfuls of unfinished books, including poetry and short stories. When I was diagnosed with Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity disorder in 2025, everything started to become clear. For this is how I would always work, holding a number of projects in my mind, connecting them to one another for a potential climax.
Telling stories draws me inwards and through the gift of hyperfocus, I navigate an empathic daydream. Imagery is the first, burning star of a written constellation, and I use my Fine Art degree experience to transport me there. The best part about hyperfocus is when it is shared, and I would love to talk more with you about the fantasy land in my head, about Charlotte, Nathaniel, Flow, and the rest of the team at Paths for Peace.Â
